Where are my decks stored?

All decks and cards are saved in your browser's localStorage, so they persist across page reloads on the same device without any account or server needed.

How does the spaced repetition work?

Cards you mark as 'unknown' are weighted to appear more often during a session, giving you more practice on difficult material without a complex scheduling algorithm.

Can I edit or delete individual cards?

Yes — in deck management view each card has Edit and Delete buttons. You can update the front or back text at any time.

How do I share a deck with someone else?

Click 'Export JSON' to download your deck as a .json file, then share that file. The recipient can import it using the 'Import JSON' button in the tool.

About this tool

Build multiple named flashcard decks and populate each with question/answer pairs. Study mode reveals the front of a card; click to flip and see the answer, then mark it as known or unknown. Cards you mark unknown are shown more frequently, providing a lightweight spaced-repetition effect. Session progress shows the percentage of cards you've marked as known. Shuffle mode randomises card order, and full deck export/import via JSON makes it easy to share or back up your decks.

How to use

1 Click 'New Deck', give it a name, then add cards by entering a front (question) and back (answer) for each.
2 Select a deck and click 'Study' to enter study mode — cards are shown front-first; click the card to flip it.
3 After flipping, mark the card 'Known' (green) or 'Unknown' (red); unknown cards reappear more often.
4 Use 'Export JSON' to back up or share a deck, or 'Import JSON' to load a previously exported deck.
