Does the EyeDropper API work in all browsers?

The EyeDropper API is supported in Chrome, Edge, and Opera. For unsupported browsers, a manual hex input fallback is provided.

What WCAG contrast ratios are checked?

The tool checks contrast ratios against both white and black backgrounds and rates them as AAA (7:1+), AA (4.5:1+), AA Large (3:1+), or Fail.

What color harmony types are shown?

Complementary, split-complementary, triadic, analogous, tetradic, and monochromatic harmonies are all generated.

How is color blindness simulated?

The tool simulates deuteranopia (red-green), protanopia (red), and tritanopia (blue-yellow) color blindness using standard transformation matrices.
