What is the difference between Beautify and Minify?

Beautify adds indentation and line breaks to make code human-readable. Minify removes all unnecessary whitespace to reduce file size.

How does validation work?

The Validate tab uses a JSON.parse attempt for JSON and a Function constructor parse for JavaScript to detect syntax errors without executing arbitrary code.

Can I change the indentation size?

Yes — a selector in the Beautify tab lets you choose 2 spaces, 4 spaces, or a tab character.

Is my code sent to a server?

No — all formatting runs entirely in your browser. Nothing is ever sent to a server.
