Which barcode formats are supported?

QR Code, Data Matrix, PDF417, Aztec, Code 128, Code 39, Code 93, EAN-13, EAN-8, UPC-A, UPC-E, ITF, Codabar, and RSS/DataBar formats via the ZXing library.

Is my image or camera feed uploaded anywhere?

No. All decoding is performed locally in your browser using the ZXing-js library. No image data is sent to any server.

Why can't my barcode be detected?

Ensure the image is clear and well-lit with the barcode in focus. Blurry, partially cropped, or very small barcodes may not decode. Try increasing contrast or brightness first.

How do I use live camera scanning?

Click 'Use Camera', grant microphone/camera permission when prompted, and point your camera at the barcode. Scanning is continuous — the result appears automatically.
